2013-2014 Season
We begin with mini-masterpieces for chorus and organ, including brilliant works by well-known composers Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Finzi, and Whitacre, and others lesser-known— Rautavaara and Veljo Tormis.
After our festive Candlelight Christmas at Old South, we return in March for James Whitbourn’s moving and powerful Annelies, based on Anne Frank’s The Diary of a Young Girl.
Our season reaches a climax with a performance in Jordan Hall of Bach’s monumental Mass in B Minor, the first CpM performance since 1973.
We look forward to welcoming you to our concerts and to continuing CpM’s long history of choral excellence in Boston.
