Welcome to our 69th Season!
Welcome to Chorus pro Musica’s 69th season! We begin with a brand new work commissioned by CpM: Andy Vores’s In Childhood’s Thicket, a follow-up to his critically acclaimed Spencer the Rover. We are thrilled to premiere In Childhood’s Thicket in beautiful Distler Hall at Tufts University. After our annual Candlelight Christmas at Old South, we perform our spring concert in March (repertoire TBD). We conclude with Elgar’s monumental oratorio, The Dream of Gerontius, with our friends Ben Zander and the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, in Symphony Hall. Please join us! —Jamie Kirsch, Music Director

At this, a time when “the nations rage,” Bernstein’s remarkable psalm settings remind us “how good, how pleasant it is, to dwell together in unity.” Bach’s cantata, one of his most popular, joyously calls us to fellowship with God—for whom the darkness has no power. Pärt’s fable (for women’s voices) shows how one might achieve divine peace by freely giving to others.Learn MoreBuy Tickets
