Our traditional holiday celebration included a candlelight procession and singing of carols with the audience. The chorus sang Christmas music both traditional and modern—Poulenc’s beautiful Christmas motets, Joan Szymko’s gentle “Nada te turbe” (Let nothing disturb you), modern carols by Abbie Betinis and William Bolcom, and some beautiful seasonal arrangements by young composers Ola Gjeilo and Joshua Shank.
