Chorus pro Musica is an SATB chorus of approximately 80 singers. We rehearse at Old South Church (645 Boylston Street), mostly on Monday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, with occasional Tuesday rehearsals (if Monday is a holiday). Additional rehearsals will also be scheduled for concert weeks.

April 18: Mahler’s Second Symphony with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra at Symphony Hall

April 27: Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the Boston Civic Symphony at Jordan Hall

May 3rd: John Adams’ Harmonium with the New England Philharmonic Orchestra at Tsai Performance Center

    The audition will be conducted live, but remote (on Zoom), with Music Director Jamie Kirsch. It will take about ten minutes, and likely include singing one short song (or part of a song) of your choice in any style; short hearing exercises like pitch matching; and a sight-singing excerpt.
