SUMMER SINGS 2008

Hankering to sing a choral masterpiece? Feel the rush of Presto, the sigh of Andante, or the flutter of Allegro? Now is your chance: come sing with us! Spend a Monday evening with Chorus pro Musica during our “summer of reflection.”

You'll receive a score and spend the first half of the evening rehearsing. After a break, you'll experience the exhiliration of a performance as our conductor leads a complete run-through, with professional soloists at his side. There will be piano accompaniment.

TIME: The doors open at 7:00, and the Sings begin at 7:30.

LOCATION: Old South Church, 645 Boylston Street, Boston. Handicapped accessible. Air conditioning has been installed! The church is located on the corner of Boylston & Dartmouth Streets, across the street from the Boston Public Library. Green Line to Copley Square.

COST: $8 per sing. $2 off/single admission for seniors and students (with school ID) The more you sing, the more you save: $28 for all four, $20 for any three.

August 11 Fauré: Requiem Adam Boyles, director of the MIT Symphony Orchestra.
August 18 Verdi: Requiem William Cutter, director of choral activities at MIT and assistant to John Oliver for the Tanglewood Festival Chorus.
